Grantham: CarersUK Green Care for You programme is starting next Monday 22 June!

CarersUK Green Care for You programme is starting next Monday 22 June!

The days are getting longer, the weather is getting warmer, and the pull of being outside is getting stronger. But, when you’re caring, it can be hard to find time to enjoy moments with nature.
Green Care for You is a two‑week guided programme for unpaid carers who would like to be active in nature in small, everyday ways - without pressure or expectations. It’s all about finding ways to take a moment with nature that fits around your caring routines.

Green Care for You

What will you get out of it?
There are so many benefits to gardening and connection with nature...
Improved mental health: A quiet moment of reflection in hectic day and the feeling of being grounded by what you notice around you.
Better physical health: The opportunity to be more active in a low pressure, relaxed way.
More understanding and knowledge: Learn about how you can connect with nature, in your own home, garden or local green space.

There’s no pressure to complete every prompt. You’re welcome to take part as little or as much as suits you or save any activities to return to another time.

Sign up now to join us from Monday 22 June - Monday 6 July.

As always, if you have any queries, please email the Carers First Employment Team on employment@carersfirst.org.uk, where one of the team will be happy to help you.
