We’ve got the fantastic Jenny from @‌militaryspouseworks joining us this week for a CV workshop - if you’ve been around for a while you’ll know exactly how amazing she is so if a new job is on the cards for this year you definitely need to come along.

Jenny will cover the basics of what to include in a CV, but she'll focus on how you describe your skills and experience in a way that makes an impact on the reader, as well as formatting/layout that can help with this. Jenny will also talk about how to outline transferable skills - particularly important for anyone returning after a break or who has had a lot of short-term roles (#MilitaryLife).

We are opening the office on Wednesday 28th January between the hours of

1600 – 2000.

If you are interested in joining our team, whether that be helping with our fund raising events or being a weekly face in the office. We’d love you in the team!

We do need volunteers and without the help of our team we aren’t as able to hold so many events for our community.

Our office is located inside Blandford camp, next to the dental building and across from the church.

Amat lies inland from the east coast about 50 miles north of Inverness. The nearest villages are Ardgay (9 miles) and Bonar Bridge (10 miles). By road, the journey time from Inverness is about 1 hour. The remote location of the property, on a no through road, lends itself to a relaxing break, although there is phone signal and broadband if needed!

The property sleeps up to up to 8 people - three twin-bedded rooms and one double room with an accompanying ensuite shower room. There are a further two bathrooms, one on the ground floor near the main entrance and a second on the first floor.

Chepstow Mari Lwyd is an annual tradition and spectacle in Monmouthshire, held every year in the Welsh border town of Chepstow.

Come to Chepstow this January and enjoy one of the most interesting traditions in Wales, the annual New Year Wassail and Mari Lwyd procession. It's sure to be a spectacle as different Morris groups parade their traditional Beasts and Mari's through the town alongside dancing, singing, music and good cheer. Hosted by the Widders Border Morris.
