Bovington: Tank museum 'Quiet mornings' Sat 7th June, Sat 27th Sep & Sat 6th Dec

From 0900-1100 all sounds, and interactives will be turned off to reduce sensory input.

This session is primarily for, but not limited to, families of children with autism; young people and adults with autism; children with social, emotional, or mental health needs; adults living with dementia and any other visitors with sensory needs or who may prefer a more relaxed experience.

Stafford: Staffordshire smart alert - Positive Action



The country pro active and rural team have been working with the local neighbourhood team, British Transport Police, Violence Reduction Team and our Major organised crime department on Monday to target county lines drug dealing and safeguard vulnerable children. 

They have conducted several stop searches, resulting in the arrest of a female found in possession of cannabis individually wrapped. She has been bailed pending further investigation. 

A male was also arrested after found in possession of cannabis and a knife. He was also wanted by Derbyshire for criminal damage.’

Military Women’s Health & Wellbeing Conference - 23/24 Apr 25


Centre for Military Women's Research (CMWR) at Anglia Ruskin University is holding its second conference in April themed around the health and wellbeing of women in the military community. The first day of this international conference includes a wide range of speakers and panel discussions on women's experiences during and after military service, ending with a drinks reception. The second day comprises a choice of four workshops on different aspects of the theme, concluding with a review and plenary.
