Cardiff: Volunteers and Helpers Needed - Cardiff Whales Disabled Swimming Club

Registered Charity Number 507932

We are looking for volunteers and helpers for the pool to help and teach our swimmers. This is a fun and rewarding experience requiring no prior experience other than a basic ability to swim and a desire to help.
We run weekly sessions (Sunday) which last an hour. Volunteers will provide support in the pool to our swimmers. We can provide training courses to become full Halliwick Instructors for those who are able to commit.
Cardiff Whales DSC is a fun inclusive swimming club for those who need extra support to learn and enjoy swimming. We swim at Western Leisure centre on Sunday afternoons where we have exclusive use of the pool.
Cardiff Whales DSC was established in the mid 1970’s becoming a Registered Charity, and were the very first disabled swimming club to be formed in Wales.

DBS checks are required for our volunteer helpers.

Please Contact Stephen Pearce (Chair) at swim.whales@yahoo.co.uk
