Fife: Recycling batteries

Batteries in bins are a burning issue!

Never put batteries, vapes or electrical items in your household bins.

Batteries hidden inside everyday items like vapes, phones, power banks, electronic toys and electric toothbrushes can cause fires if crushed or damaged.

Please recycle them safely at participating retailers or Fife recycling centres, excluding Cupar.

Help protect your local communities, environment and crews. How to recycle batteries and electrical items safely:
- Return them to retailers offering take-back services. Visit: https://recycleyourelectricals.org.uk
-Take them to household recycling centres across Fife (excluding Cupar).
