Chatham Multiply Free Training, Have Confidence in your Maths Skills

 



Get to grips with numbers with a short Multiply course from Medway Adult Education.

Multiply is a national scheme for adults who do not have a GCSE grade 4 or higher in maths or equivalent, these free flexible courses fit around busy lives

Designed to build confidence with numbers and be of use in everyday life, sessions use topics such as gardening, cooking, puzzles, pottery and sewing to create an understanding of numbers.

These free courses include help with:

How to manage your money

Understanding bills, energy calculations, and with budgeting

Cooking on a budget, portion sizes and nutrition

Workplace skills

Numbers for use in the workplace

Supporting children with maths homework

Tickets For Troops

 


You are eligible to apply for tickets through Tickets for Troops if:
  • You are a serving member of HM Armed Forces
  • Have been medically discharged from the Forces since the commencement of military action in Afghanistan in 2001
  • You have been awarded a medical pension by the Ministry of Defence and discharged after 2001
  • You are the next of kin to a service person who has died as a result of their service

Serving members include both Regulars and Reserves, membership is not open to Cadet Forces, Officer Cadets nor MOD Civil Servants.

Serving members must have a valid MoD 90 (Service ID Card) and Service ID number to register and use the tickets available on this site. Those who have been medically discharged must enter the Service ID Number issued to them whilst serving in the HM Forces.

You will be required to verify that you are eligible to use Ticket For Troops. ​

Leuchars Station: Free Tots Group in the Community Centre Wednesday & Friday morning


Wednesdays & Fridays 10.30-11.30 am

Tots group for pre-school age children and their adults

Unstructured free play

Toy donations welcome

We are usually closed on school closure days, station stand downs and Bank Holidays. 

During school holidays we allow older siblings to attend, but would request that they are mindful of younger children. 

Over longer school holidays we try to open at least once a week, the dates will be advertised on the notice boards in the community centre or here on the HIVE blog.
