Hereford: Ledbury Big Breakfast 2025 is coming!


 

One of Ledbury’s popular events – the Ledbury Big Breakfast – is taking place over Friday 31st January, Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd February 2025.

Local shops, cafes, hotels and other food outlets in and around Ledbury are challenged to come up with special breakfast offerings for you featuring locally produced food to brighten a winter’s day.

Breakfasts can be big or small, traditional or newly invented, to be enjoyed in our local eating places or taken home for enjoyment. Many venues will provide vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options.

It’s never too late to learn how to plate good, nutritional food!

Embark on a journey of flavour and find new favourites with the intention of improving nutrition skills and knowledge with this Get Cooking Course.
Sessions will be 2 hours, taking place over 8 weeks, with groups of 6 – 8 people.

Brecon: Repair Cafe - Every last Saturday of the month at Brecon Volunteer Bureau

Are you holding on to old treasures? Want to give once beloved items some much needed TLC? Visit the Repair Cafe, speak with a Volunteer fixer-upper, and see if they can help to restore life to old items!

The Volunteers of the Repair Cafe are able to work on:
  • Household Items
  • Toys
  • Clothes and Sewing Repairs
  • Small Furniture
  • Electrical Items (subject to assessment). Electricals can also be PAT tested.
Brecon Repair Cafe is also a collection point for Tools for Self Reliance Cymru. 
Cakes and warm beverages are on offer! Volunteers are always welcome to join the group and current Volunteers are happy to share their knowledge with anyone interested!
